Default RE: I've got a 1970 dodge challenger andi'm hoping to have it rebuilt. Any suggestions on rebuilding it.

It's nice to see younger people having musclecars. I was 16 when I bought a 68 Charger rt in 1996. That car was a mess, the only that was strong in the car was the engine. I had to replace just about everything on that car, but it was well worth it. It's was definitly an eye turner

Give us a little more info on the challenger, and what kind of shape it's in? Has it been sitting in storage for a long time? From there we might be able to offer some more assistance.

For the basics off the top of my head just for driveability consider these items:
Replace all fluids in the car
Upgrade suspension like a complete bushing kit.
Replace all tires depending on how old they are.
Rebuild carb.

Depending when the last time it has been in driving condition.
Rebuild motor
Exhaust depending on condition
Might have to replace gas tank and sending unit
Possibly rear end

Hope this helps some and good luck. Keep us informed

Jeremy
