I'm not either. The fact is this platform which they are using is an expensive one to build. I wish they would have used a different platform for this that wasn't as expensive to build (seriously updated yet shortened LH-platform utilizing the RWD capabilities it had). I don't think that a $50K Challenger will threaten the sales of the updated Viper. The GTO didn't threaten the sales of the Vette despite the fact that they had the exact same powertrain.

Don't expect Dodge to fulfill Plymouth's role. This is why I think they need to revive Plymouth. They need to make a more plain model for people who don't care about technology or luxuries but just want a good looking, muscle car.

You know, I wonder what Dodge could do to make the 6.1L more powerful.
