It would also require a larger engine bay which adds weight and length to the car. A supercharged model would be wiser if they wanted to go 600+ hp. Also, if they were going to make a HEMI V10, they should scrap the LA/Magnum V10 and base a new one off of the new HEMI small block because the cost to build the HEMI engine line is significantly less than it was to make the LA/Magnum V8 engine line, which the Viper V10 is based off of. That is probably the real reason why they replaced the 318/360 or 5.2L/5.9L, because the crate engine 360 is not by anymeans weak (380hp & 410ft-lbs of tq). BadStratRT is correct that the price would be redicilous, and would be a bad idea to pursue. No offense AwsomeSpeed, but it just wouldn't work.
