Default 16 inch wheels on SE

I have two 70 Challengers and am buying a new SE this week. I noticed how big (taller) the Challenger is compared to the old ones.. Then I saw that they had the optional 18 inch rims on an SE I am looking at. I then saw another one with standard 16 inch rims and 60 series tires, etc and liked that look more.. I know that the bigger the wheels , etc the more expensive , but I think the standard wheels make the car look more like the old one (which hace 15x7 factory rally's) in terms of the stance and boldness... Anyone else think this or am I just not used to it....Thanks

The standard rims on the SE are 17 inch. That's what I got on mine. Yeah, I prefer the old-school look of them. Also, I used to have a '70 Challenger.

A lot has changed over the years and wheels are just one of them. I like the larger wheels on the newer cars.

Nothing wrong with that, I prefer the old school look as well, that's why I didn't "upgrade" to the 20" wheels on my R/T. Eventually I'll get some nice aftermarket 18's.
