The cops are going to love writing that ticket

Cops dont have a leg to stand on in texas for a ticket.

First arnt your stock turn signals amber? so are these rings....
second... rings are hooked to a switch...

and Finally...

Texas law states...

§ 547.305. RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF LIGHTS. (a) A motor
vehicle lamp or illuminating device, other than a headlamp,
spotlamp, auxiliary lamp, turn signal lamp, or emergency vehicle or
school bus warning lamp, that projects a beam with an intensity
brighter than 300 candlepower shall be directed so that no part of
the high-intensity portion of the beam strikes the roadway at a
distance of more than 75 feet from the vehicle.
(b) Except as expressly authorized by law, a person may not
operate or move equipment or a vehicle, other than a police vehicle,
with a lamp or device that displays a red light visible from
directly in front of the center of the equipment or vehicle.
(c) A person may not operate a motor vehicle equipped with a
red, white, or blue beacon, flashing, or alternating light unless
the equipment is:
(1) used as specifically authorized by this chapter;
or
(2) a running lamp, headlamp, taillamp, backup lamp,
or turn signal lamp that is used as authorized by law.

(d) A vehicle may be equipped with alternately flashing
lighting equipment described by Section 547.701 or 547.702 only if
the vehicle is:
(1) a school bus;
(2) an authorized emergency vehicle;
(3) a church bus that has the words "church bus"
printed on the front and rear of the bus so as to be clearly
discernable to other vehicle operators;
the above explained by a cop below....
ok. so if you read this, it states that the beam of light cannot be directed on the roadway of more than 75 feet. if any of you have noticed while at night, they are bright but they dont shine that much while driving to the front. i think they may go 50 feet.
the second part say it cant be red, white, or blue if they are a beacon, flashing or alternating. the same way the overhead lights are on a patrol car. i dont think any of us have them set up that way. OH AND BLUE DOES NOT MAKE YOU AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE IN TEXAS. ONLY RED.

if your going to do any mod its always a good idea to know the local/state laws..

who has yellow headlamps?

check your screen those be amber.....

and yes Texas is its own nation only state that can legally leave the US.

each state makes its own transportation laws..

your states laws mean nothing here as Texas laws mean nothing there.

IE. Texas has no state income texas, why should they tax our income in texas because oklahoma does

each their own

I've never looked into Texas headlight laws, but I don't think they're regulated at all. People in San Antonio drive around with all kinds of strange colors or brightness levels. Frankly, it's annoying as hell to have people with ungodly bright headlights running around.

Actually, Mecha, I don't know why you'd want to do that to the Challenger. It too European for my taste.
