If they don't come out with a "Catch me Copper" color, they can kiss my tail pipe. The retro colors rock, but a few classy colors wouldn't hurt. I pray they have a different bronze color than that ?Orange Sunburst" they stuck on a few Avengers, eucch.

I am really liking the blue.... is it just me, or does the 68 camaro look like the 2009 challenger?

Well a long hood and short trunk is common on those cars if that is what you mean or how about they are both blue.

Okay you need your meds like Paladin06 said.

Nope, still Go-Man-Go Hopefully renamed to Catch-Me-Copper, is still a smart color for this car. But the Yellow and the sublime would be too, if I can not get my primary choice.

I spoke with my cousin (Regional General Manager) the other day about colors, he told me not to worry, there would be a decent palette. Of course I have no way of verifying this. My cousin would not go into any detail. I did get out of him that the SRT8 color options are limited (duh!) and for more than the cost of paint reasons as bantered about here. <speculation> I was left to infer it had something to do with CAFE laws - the more the larger engines sold all the more fuel efficient ones would have to be. If I were a person given to conspiracy theories I would say Chrysler is afraid more of the larger engine Challengers would be sold making it almost impossible to sell enough fuel efficient cars to meet the CAFE requirements for the company. </speculation>

Still, if I am forking over almost 45K, I want the color I want, so it is to the back of the queue for me (again). First waiting on a manual tranny, now on the color.... (I suppose I could always get an R/T, ... naw.) 8^)

I think the new challenger has more lines in common with the 68 camaro than with an original challenger. That's not a complaint.

Whaaa Hoo!!!! Chrysler is listening. They just added several more colors to the palette for the 2009 Challengers. They have added another red, a white, titanium grey, and a dark blue. Yeah, Baby! We call this progress.?.

So my daughter says to me, Dad, these colors look like the pavement, the cement of the bridges and the over all drabby colors you see along the road side, to say nothing about looking like all the other cars (sic color). So, how do you tell a sweet, innocent young eleven year old, "Golly, gee, willikers, I think those new colors look swell dear."[sm=bustedsign.gif]

So when do two positives make a negative? "Ya, right."
