Default Removing the spoiler...

Hello all,

Finally got full permission from the wife to order an R/T. I'm not a big fan of the spoiler though. Anyone that has it already, how's it held on? Or has anyone else yanked theirs yet?

Well, it seems to be held by factory double-sided white foam tape. Sort of like the 3M stuff, that actually stays "on". You can remove the spoiler but it looks so cool. I like the spoiler, it will stay on mine.

Are you serious? That's like a dream come true for me! Thanks for checking!!

i guess you might not have to worry too much in an R/T but we were just talkin in another thread in the general forum about the 100mph lane change. spoiler comes in handy there apparently.

FYI, there are some bolts and nuts in the rear deck spoiler attachement, at least there are on my SRT8.

Thats funny... the guy on the Harley followed me into town. We actually pulled up to a light together. Got a chance to exchange a few words. The Car had him with his grin on too.

Turns out he is a Camaro guy... but loved the new Challenger...

The story about the Harley . Remind's me of when I had my new 71 340 R/T . I had to drive about 40 miles each way on the interstate to work and back each day. And there where toll station's . On the way home one day . I was pulling out of the toll gate headed home when a a State trooper pulled into the lane next to me . Speed limit was 70 then . I got a jump on him with traffic getting on behind me . When I came to a hill and curve where he couldn't put radar on me . I took it over to about 140 . Then slowed back down. I did that several time's over the next 40 miles. When I was pulling out of the next toll gate . I heard a horn blow. And looked over . It was the trooper in the next gate . He waved at me . I got off the interstate to head home. And he went on . Man he must have had that cruiser in the wind. LOL.
