Wow, you were dead on with the emblem replacement instructions. I followed them carefully and my replacement R/T emblem looks great. I would have been all day if not for your directions. Thanks alot. The hardest part was getting the old emblem prongs out of their clips. Thanks again!!!!!!!!

I'm glad it was helpful and certainly why we are all here, to learn ideas from one another. I'm no mechanic and certainly less so on newer cars, so I keep it to the simple stuff as I see it and where things are documented, all the better for me.

just disconnect the battery and you should be alright, just be cautious anyway, did the same thing to my Neon R/T back in the day, and "adjusted the alignment" on my 98 eclipse by pulling the wheel off after hitting a curb

You had a dead on Removal/install. My only problem was that the emblem would not stick, even after using isopropyl alchohol on a q tip and letting dry at least 5 minutes. Right as I write this I am trying to use 3m super adhesive spray . I am going to let it be for the evening and check it out tomorrow a.m.
I am sure I did something wrong. But it is still disappointing. I will probably take it apart and put the other part back on in the end.

Try putting on the 3M double sided tape to adhere emblem to steering wheel surface, I did this and it's fine.

Could you toss in where to see the pic and where to get the new emblem?

Thanks,

I'm thinking about replacing my "Ram's Head" Emblem with a "Fiat" Emblem...
What with the possible partnership I just figured I would be the first on my block to have a Dodge/Fiat Challlenger......................

Besides, Joe, with the old buggy you've got, you've got to do SOMETHING to make it appear part of the Modern World of 2009!

Sorry, but I must correct you………..it’s almost a year old, therefore it’s no longer an “old Buggy”. It’s now a “Classic”, and or “Collectable”. It's value should sky rocket after it's reaches it's first brithday!!!!.....
