a V-6 Charger only gets 17mpg??? Wow that sucks. Man that's horrible, the Phoenix has to do better than that.

I have a 5.7l hemi in my 2006 Charger RT. I have 45,000 miles on it. I have always gotten 18mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway. With those figures, I would buy an RT.
If you want to buy a fully loaded dark blue Charger RT, contact me through a reply or email. Autotrader says $27,000 to $28,000. I would sell for $22,000

"Hah! Embarrassing. My 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue has a slightly smaller engine (3.8L V6) and more power! (214HP). The Mustang does have 10ft lb more torque but that's about it. Kind of sad that a family car beats out a "performance" car. But back on topic, the prices for the Challenger sound pretty darn good to me!"
Not really anything new though. The V6 challenger and probably the V6 camaro will also be beat out by some family cars. You've got toyota and honda producing 270hp camrys and accords. I do wish the challenger's V6 put out 300hp though.

BTW - selling my loaded red 01 PT Cruiser LTD with 56Kmis and in excellent condition to get my 09 SRT8 Challenger.
KBB shows a retail value of $7460. I"ll take $6995 for it if anyone"s looking for a future collectible in great shape.

the new issue of muscle machines hinted that the 09 color combos will be the same as the daytona's so i'm assuming the blue, green, purple for sure. no idea on that copper color.
