Chrysler released the 2010 production numbers on October 1. The Challenger build is up 47% from 2009. Here are the numbers for the Challenger:

2010- 27,782
2009- 18,878

I like that they keep the numbers low.

 

I see many many many Camaros on the road and still enjoy the exclusivity of the Challenger. While I did not buy this wonderful vehicle for that purpose, it's a positive feeling.

On the production note, the 27k sold this year falls pretty much in line with the initial plans for 36k per year that "old" Chrysler planned in 2007/2008.
