The months of waiting are almost over. We’re mere hours away at this point…RLD has braved the cold, fog and wind of Chicago in February to bring you saturation coverage of the event.
But hold the phone, because you won’t need to wait for the page to refresh or for our correspondents to file their stories. You can watch the launch live by clicking through to our launch video here. So clear your schedule and be here at 11:45a EST/10:45a Central for the big debut (which might just have a few cool folks in attendance, but we don’t want to ruin the surprise).
And as always, we’ll be putting up photos, thoughts and reviews for the rest of the week. The Challenger is about to be reborn. This isn’t the end of the journey…it’s only the beginning of the excitement for us.

Im so upset.. wasw planning on going but of coarse something has to come up! Now I will have to watch someones video so please make a good recording!

I'm shooting it with a Panny gv400 and a Canon 40D. So we'll have some high res funstivity!

My work computer blocks the live feed![:'(] Someone has GOT TO post filmage when they can!!! I'm more frustrted than a puppy with two peters and a wired shut jaw!!

That is TOTALLY cool. I watched the Challenger countdown clock hit 0 days 00 hours 00 minutes 00 seconds. It then switched to a sign saying, "The Challenger is here!"

yeah, I have to say I was pretty disappointed too with the "the show". Some old guy (albeit Marketing VP) talked about the car like he would want to drive it. [So when is two positives ever a negative] "yeah right".
After all is said and done - I have to say I am left a bit disappointed (yet do not interpret that to mean I wont want one), I still think the 2008 Challenger is a 2008 Charger in two door clothing. Oh, I can only hope there is a surgical separation from the Challenger for 09.
I do admit the color is spot on for this body style. Although I hear Purple and green may be coming too. We wil (again) have to wait and see.
