Default Canadian Federal Budget Hammers Gas Guzzlers

The Progressive Conservative government of Steven Harper has passed a new pre-election budget to the Canadian public.

Of concern to the Dodge Challenger fans, this budget is proposing an extra gasoline tax, up to $4000, paid by consumers buying a gas guzzler. On the other hand, those consumers buying a hybrid or low-consuming car are eligible to receive up to $2000 credit.

"I am truly sorry for buying the Dodge Challenger, but it's the only car worth buying, Mr. Harper, the honourable Prime Minister."[sm=guilty.gif]

In summary, I believe this will put a damper of the Canadian sales of the Dodge Challenger. This will dissuade the fence sitters from buying the retro-styled muscle car. Only the true hard car muscle car fanatics will buy this car and pay the extra tax. [sm=boosign.gif]
