Well at one point 400 hp from the Viper cost around $50,000. 450 hp used to cost $75,000, now you can get 425 hp between $35,000-40,000. Therefore, I wouldn't be a first.

Frankly, the Viper needs a different power plant. They need to make a new V10 out of the HEMI and offer VVT so then it can pass the emissions standards. This would lower the price, raise the output, and potiential. The LA based V10 is too outdated.

This came out of the Muscle Car Enthusiast and the Dodge Challenger is on the front cover.

I hope everybody could read it.

This sounds like it should be a credible outlet. Maybe our dreams will come true. Thanks for sharing that.

hopefully the challenger will be within the reach of "normal people"...as the viper is not, and when the new viper comes out, you can bet that the price isnt going to drop any...[&o]

I agree. It sounds like the 5.7L model will go for $30,000. That is achievable. It can't be cost effective to keep upgrading that V10. As I said before, they ought to make a new one out of the HEMI small block.
