Default Chrysler to offer $4000 incentive

CNN is reporting Chrysler will offer a $4000 rebate on Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. I think it starts today. Now --- How many of us would buy from a bankrupt company that MAY not be around in 6 months ??

If I were buying a Challenger at a healthy discount, I'd still consider it. Parts will still be around for several years, and chances are that the company will survive in some form.

I wouldn't worry about Chrysler going away any time soon.....besides, our All-Mightly and All-Powerful President has already stated that the ever helpful and caring government will be covering all warranties... (I didn't know that our Senators and Congressmen knew how to work on cars, [they certainly can’t lead very well]...the only good thing is that all their work shirts will have the same name on them…”Bob”…and that WILL save some money)

I just talked with a "friend of a friend" dealer.
He said that it doesn't apply to Challengers. Right.

Strangely enough, there's another shyster dealer that I've been talking with that said that Chrysler has just opened up a $1000 rebate for the Challenger (while claiming that "invoice" is really $500 over what invoice is supposed to be for that car.)

I'm halfway tempted to start writing all this bullsh!t down in a journal, and getting it published.
Or maybe I'll just post 'em here.

Has anybody started a "scoundrel dealer" thread yet?
