I was told by my neighbor/dealer last night that they can now sell the Challenger at the green slip price. He said that this does not extend to "friends" just yet. Can anyone confirm this?

Green slip is the price that an employee of Chrysler would pay. Up until now there were no discounts on the Challengers for anybody. The discounts can vary somewhat but there can be about a 10% savings off of the MSRP. Sometimes Chrysler offers Green Slip price to friends of employees but just not yet for the Challenger.

Employee discounts are available on the 2009 SE's and RT's. The SRT8 is not a part of this program. The employee discount has been available for over a month. As you stated, the EP is only available to family members that are eligible to participate in the program. I will have to look if the Challenger SE and RT are available for the friends discount. (much smaller discount)

 

That would be great if by the time my Challenger comes in I would be able to get it at the friends and family program pricing. I'm sure this is a dream, but I like it right at this point in time.
