Something I noted in this read that I had not before, the gas cap door is NOT metal. That's a real concern for me here in AZ with summertime temps hitting 120, discoloration COULD occur quickly.

 

I thought in the RLD video the designers said it was metal. Maybe the writers just thought it felt like plastic?

 

I recall hearing it was metal too but......

 

Hmmm... I happen to have a fuel door for a '70 laying around. Wonder if it would fit on an '09 ....

 

ive seen vintage mopar gas doors on everything from trucks to neons...with enough patience, anything will fit...

i have an eclipse fuel door on my stratus...
