It’s been a very exciting week for Chrysler and it looks like the party is just getting started.

In order to celebrate the rebirth of an American car company, Chrysler is holding a bit of a gala at your local dealer.

“The New Chrysler- Premiere Event” will be held on August 15th from 6pm to 9pm at dealerships across the US.

And in order to start off Model Year 2008 with a bang, Chrysler is giving away 15 New Vehicles across all brands. Hey, I got one of these in the mail. It has the Challenger on the timeline under 2009.

 

The Challenger will be built beginning in 2008 as a 2008 Model Year car. That's the best information I have.

I think you're safe to wipe the beads of sweat off your brow because Challenger is coming soon.

Unfortunately, the beads are still there. Think for a petty little man like myself, I'll be waiting a year after it comes out to get one since it's going to be so out of reach for the first year.

 

i went to a premier night in 2002 i believe, and the dealerships were giving out nice silver coins.

 

Maybe one of these nice silver coins will have a Challenger image on it.

 

Didn't I tell those of you who were pessimistic that it was still coming. So Sean T., why is it still going to be a 2008 model? Normally when it is produced in the middle of the year, they move the year up one.

Chrysler is not releasing any specific information with regards to the production of the Challenger, so I can't really give you a rationale as to why this is slated to begin production at the beginning of the year as opposed to the middle of last.

I'm sure it will be worth it though.
