Starting to hear a rumor about a new package coming onthe ne Challenger, appearance package with rear spoiler and the T/A style hood. Anyone know anything? Pics?

The hood is cool, but I think I'd want the air intake painted black. Remember: There is no school but the Old School.

 

I like the spoiler and that shifter handle, just might have to upgrade on that handle i already have a 1975 TA with a shaker hood don't need my Chally having one I like the hood it has.

 

I've seen the accessories literature, I just wondered if anyone could confirm the hood/spoiler being part of a "T/A" package yet to come. I'm looking at the hood, as I'm looking at getting a B-5 blue classic to park beside the B-5 70 T/A.

Check www.redletterdodge.com In the article from Bob Frederick about the B5 Classic, he answers someone's question about the T/A package. Yes, the T/A package will include both that hood and rear wing spoiler. The package will also include the polished rims found on the Classic package.

I have ordered a B5 Blue Classic R/T, but I love that T/A hood. It sounds like they are not going to offer that hood in B5 though.

 

^^^ You are correct that the TA hood must be bought through the parts dept or another vendor for the B5 classic, I'm not sure on the other colors. I'm just going by what the dealer told me, and wasn't able to order the car with either the hood or spoiler. I would think you should be able to order the whole package in the near future.

 

That is a nice looking car. I had a new 71 R/T 340 I'll see if I can post a picture of it .

Guys ik im coming from no where in this but the targa challenger road model has this hood ......... mopar has been in the process of making a new motor since the challenger called the "Big Valvey" it is a concept motor rumored to have been putting outputs of 600-850 hp now i havent checked on tht recently but dodge is following the original challenger plans and bc of tht u wnt c the T/A until the challenger is out for at least 4 years..... howevr i have much confidence tht dodge will keep making them past the four year mark im sure a specialty model will b coming soon bc they nixxed the convertible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
