Shed a tear. Also there's a pic of one in a color I haven't seen. Might be the titanium but it looks more brownish. Either way it's blech.

No, it's true, liability issues. We saw it happen with Thunderbird. Heck they even destroy used office furniture rather than give away. Local legend goes like this. Guy buys rolling, swivel desk chair at garage sale. Uses it to stand on to reach shelf at home. Chair swivels and rolls, he falls, gets hurt. Underside of chair has brass property ID plate, says Ford Motor company...guy sues, legend never mentions outcome.

This reminds me of when they destroyed & scrapped lots of American fighter and bomber planes at the end of WW2. Some of the them were brand new B17 bombers that had never seen action. It always hurts that they did that. Now there are barely a handful of B17's left. What an outrageous crime.

If they had to destroy these Challengers, they should have smashed them into parked bulldozers ala Vanishing Point. That would have been a proper end!
