I like the spoiler as well, will have to be careful with parking and driveways though...
I have only one complaint with the photos, If you look at the side shot, the driver is in a shallow turn that is making the car appear to be lower than it really is, That rather wide black stripe on the bottom of the body I'm sure is to make the car seem less "stuby" but it also makes it look as if it's riding a little high..
Just my $0.02

I went to the trouble to post the higher resolution Pix for you guys. I hate little pix.
the orange looks a LOT better than silver. When I first saw the low res photos I thought the hood stripes made a detour round the ram's head that would look weird if the ram were removed. The high res photos look like the head is over top of the stripes, and would be ok with ram removed.

I agree with you DodgeDriver, et. al.

I like the chin spoiler, a lot, but on my trek to work I can think of two places that would require gentile approach and conscientious driving.

maybe the pictures were horrible but on the silver car you can't really see the side body line. i love the side mirrors (not charger'ish) but why are they so tall???

I know that this is a minor point, but did anyone else notice that the windshield washer jets are located in the middle of the hood tape stripe? What is up with that?? [sm=badidea.gif]

Why couldn't hide them inside the windshield wiper well?

agreed, but if that's the only fault, its not that bad. but would seem that they could be fastened to the underside of hood covering wiper bay. must be a design issue. as much mindseye as the engineers put into it, there is somethinf we don;t know.

The squirters could just be there on the test mules for ease of installation.

When I have rented cars with the squirter on the wipers I never liked them as much, from an engineering stand point it would be weaker because you always have
tubes moving back and forth.

The squirters on the new Challenger are very close to the originals. The 70's Challenger had a hood grill next to the windshield and the squirter would stick out in between the grill holes but be flush with the hood. I remember this because a few times when I would wax the car, I would sometimes get wax on the squirter jet and have to turn on the wipers so it would not get plugged.

I am curious why you think it is a bad idea?

Wake up, muscle-car nation: Here is a clear look at the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, the fourth and final installation of the LX-platform that birthed the 300C, Magnum, Charger and their corresponding bad-boy models created by Chrysler LLC's skunkworks in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8
A wheelbase four inches shorter than that of its brethren (116 inches versus 120, seen originally when comparing the Challenger concept with LX production cars) results in slightly lighter weight and, perhaps, dartier handling.

The car's proportions appear bulkier than the concept's, but Dodge's final LX creation stands out as best-in-family.

I am a little confused about if the 2008 is an LX version or not based on his article, but in the end the 2009 will be an LY or LC whatever they finally decide to call it and it should be lighter and I like that.

By removing the duck spoiler, what would that do to the car's performance and/or health?
