It "may" improve mileage - VERY SLIGHTLY - in ordinary daily driving because of slightly reduced drag. Effects to the handling will only be felt at extreme speed, where it will get "floaty", or light in the rear (aka - loose).

Hopefully, the spoiler is a true functional spoiler and not just for looks. I agree with Bootcamp, if it indeed is a functional spoiler.

I hope it is because I dislike performance add ons that are just for looks, like fake hood scoops.
