I got a call from my dealer telling me my BX order is basically dead (as expected). The C order status cars they have coming in they have not decided how they will sell - market price driven - I feel rape on it's way.
I would have fainted in shock if they had honored their promises.
I'm not looking forward to when I will order mine.
But in the end we'll still get some kind of challenger at some price,
after being lied to several times and put through some hassles -
the typical car buying experience.

I was JUST at the Minneapolis car show today and the woman working at the dodge booth said the one that I was looking at was actually the 6th production car and they have started production... I dont know what to believe! But I will say that it did look finished including the undercarage

Couldnt sit in it, but the doors where open and the gals where showing all the features of it inside and out. 
Looked like a complete car to me.

I had a hunch it was the silver car from the Chicago preview... one of the Dodge marketing guys told me that he put badges on the show cars for display purposes and that they were not cars 4, 5, and six as the dash badges indicated. The badges on the show cars were really cheap, almost like foil...I hope the real badges are better quality than that...the number on the silver caught my eye because I have a silver car on order and my '96 Corvette Grand Sport is vin number ....00006. It would be cool to have a pair of sixes, wouldnt it??

Yeah then it probibly was the one that was in chicago. Too bad they put it on a platform and not on the floor so you can see all the detail. Also I wanted to see a black one in person because that is what I could be getting this spring 
lol and also a pair of 6s would be really sweet but a pair of 1s would be even better! But still to have 2 cars within the first 100 is about as good as it gets!

I will be at New York Auto show. Sat March 22. Fly out Detroit to Laguardia 6:00 AM, coach transport to Port Authority building, and walk to Javitz. See car, video and photos, return to airport 6:00 PM flight home.
