The big race!!!!
Well guys..the race went down. So...before I let the cat out of the bag, let me say Germanshepard is actaully a good guy. And I must admit , has a very nice Mustang. Here's a link of just before the "big race".

Now for the bad...he brought a little more car than he said he had but I think we all suspected that. With that being said....here's the video of us na to na. It was actually a fairly close race. He ran a 12.27 @ 110 and I ran a 12.58 @ 108.5...and the second half of the track we both gained 22 mph. We were racing into a faily strong head wind today too. But I make no excuses....I ran my 12.58 just like I said I would....unfortunately it just wasn't enough.
He was nice enough to run me with my nitrous one time after I got it sorted out. I will post a video of that also. With an open rear end, I cant spray it off the line at all.
And here's the race.

So while round 1 went to German...I will be back. If he leaves his car alone, I think we will be a very very close race when I put in my converter.
I consider today a milestone in sportsmanship. Two guys that were talking tough on the computer actaully showed up and let their cars do the talking. It was alot of fun.

No kidding...we must have been. FYI...Al and I are going to 42 next week.
Here's the nitrous vid. I actaully had a best nitrous pass of 11.79 but on this run 11.88. FYI...I am spraying 100 horse about 20 to 30 feet out.

Obviously...the Challenger looks better out front. LOL.

Cool Al is a helluva good man with an awesome car no doubt. Let me know what day you guys go, it would work out great for me vs the 184 miles I drove round trip for today but it was fun-thats all that matters.

I too like that second video much better. Get that posi unit in and a stall converter and you will launch like a rocket is strapped to your butt. Nice vids and I like the sportsmanship of how it all went down. I hope to see more of this as the Muscle car Wars progress. Great fun for sure. I love that 11.88 pass.
