Default Push Start trouble

Ok, my girl's 09 challenger had a problem with her push start button. Every now and then, she would push it to start and it would just sit there and keep trying to turn over, but never starting the engine. The dealership would never fix it because they could never get it to do this when they had it. She went as far as to carry a camera so she could record it the next time it happened. Still no help, the dealership said they need to have it happen to them before they will fix it.

Then they tricked her into trading in the car for an 11, and blah blah blah, you know the story.

Now she has informed me that her NEW car is doing to SAME thing. Is this a common problem? Why are they being so damn difficult and refusing to fix it? They replaced the starter on the 09 because they got tired of her complaining, but that didnt fix the issue.

Any ideas?

i believe there was a problem that was ambient air temp related, the hotter it was out
the more problems associated with the push button start.

Many of us had a problem with the key fob not starting the car. It was corrected by a dealer re-flash.
