OK I'm back to watch the action. Trash talk and all. Thats what makes it fun. Lets remember that its all in good fun and at the end of the day we are all friends. We drive cars and enjoy them to their fullest. In tribute to 10secDodge I killed a GT Mustang this morning on the way to work and he now knows his limitation (time for him to get more mods). This car is a beast.

The nitrous bottle is already out of the car and stowed in the old ladies Jeep. But just in case.....it will be there.....

 

Thats how we rolled in the 70s. We only used the NOS if the race started to go in the wrong direction. There were no rules in street racing unless you agreed at the start to said rules. $100 is $100. I miss those bigone days of yesteryear. You have fun 10secDodge and we are pulling for you to run your 12.58 and that is all that we can ask for. If he has been straight up with us then the rest will take care of its self. 12.58 is unreal... you are the man.

 

Wow the SRT 8s were only breaking into the 13's today at the rock, but still nothing to sneeze at. Seems like they were spinning bad off the line.

 

Yeah, that seems to be the biggest problem with good times. You need a track that is giving you traction. Well prepped and ideal conditions. Sounds like you had some fun at the Rock. How was the turnout?

 

It was my first time there so I have no reference to judge attendance, however from what I've seen the Carolinas are more Ford/Chevy country than anything. I would say it was an ok turnout. It was fun watching the Diesel trucks running 11's and 12's wow! Lot of 8th mile runs which i'm not a big fan of. Of course the car show part was great, some really nice stuff (triple black 70 GTX, 70 B5 blue 6pack 'Cuda etc) So it was a good day. I love the sounds of high horse Mopar power! Nothing like it. Oh yeah the most new R/t's Srt's I've seen in one place even then probably less than 10! Saw my exact twin there (ugh) but no R/T's runnin the QTR.
