So who has an R/T and wants to hook up with Albeeno for a little friendly racing?

For that matter anyone w/an R/T in the Billings MT area want to play?

It sounds like you got yourselves a nice rig there! I saw the proeduction numbers once and mine is 1 of 641 2005 GTs in Redfire Metallica Clear coat with a 5 speed tranny and the interior upgrade and color accent packages included.

By the way, thank you for the comments and inquiries on my Found On Road Dead. I promise never to post it again...I just wante dto prove I don't have a `75 Mustang II. Is it just me or can anyone else here feel the love? Maybe we get together this weekend, sit in a circle holding hands while singing Kumbaya! Then go out and find some imports to destroy! HAHAHA The Beener is outta here...gonna try and keep the rubber side down on my ride home from work. Have a good weekend fellas!

ROTFLMAO!!! Only meant the Found on Road Dead in a humorous way! I have owned a few Fords (65 GT350, 66 Fairlane 390 GT, 59 Panel F100, 63 Meteor, and a few others) and I too have been traumatized by GM, Mopar and such loyalists. I take it all in cheek and have fun with as much as I can. I mean soon in my garage there will be a Ford, A Dodge, a Chevy and a Harley. I think I have most of the majors covered!

brucer I feel the same way. I only use mostly old parts and rust in a humorous way. lol

Sounds like you have all the bases covered. Only thing left is an import. haha I have an old honda for a daily driver/winter beater. Don't think I'll buy another import but it has been a very good little car. Only thing is it's hard to find a real american made car any more. Half of them are put together out of the country.

I can add a few imports as well, a 67 Beetle, 79 VW Scirocco, 65 850 Fiat Spider, 75 Triumph spitfire, 76 MG GT. To name a few.

I have had about a zillion cars as when Ii was a kid my Dad owned a body and fender shop plus car lot so I had my hands on just about every make and model car I wished. I also had my fair share of the mid to late 60's and early 70's muscle cars.

Being on nights now, I have missed most of the discussion. But it did seem lively Car guys are going to be passionate about their rides and I have respect for that. Again the personal attacks were minimal and defused quite quickly and back to the cars we go. When the Camaro hits the street we can go to DEFCON 4 Its America and we love the car more than any other nation and we will stand up for our brand of car. I'm Mopar and we have alot of pride in what our cars have done. On the street we were quite formable. On the race tracks across America too. But Ford and GM had their highlights too. 2008 and we see the passion stir again, lets just keep it real boys and girls As far as R/T versus GT, I would like a true side by side comparison using like transmissions. I believe the GT has 300 HP and the R/T 375. Correct me if I'm wrong. Seems the nod would go to the R/T as far as performance... but if someone has fact to the contrary please post.

gt is faster to 60 but lucky for us races arent won in 0-60. the rt beat the bullit in the quarter mile so basically it is a drivers race.
