Throttle problem today
Was backing out of the drive way with my 6 speed R/T today. The car had been in the garage in the house. So it wasn't that cold . A contractor working on building a house across from me had a truck and trailer in our street across from the drive way. I backed out slow and careful . When I stopped to put the car in 1st gear . The idle was 2500 rpm with my foot off the gas . I hit the pedal and it went to 3000 and stayed there with my foot off the gas. What ??? . I let the engine warm up for a minute or two with the clutch in . Still didn't come down. So I turned the key off . Then restarted it and it was ok . Anyone else had this . I've thought a few times the engine jerked when changing gear's . I stopped and talked to the local dealer and was told first they had heard of this problem. They will if it happens again .
Its user error your foot KNOWS its supposed to stomp hard its the brain thats the problem! lol
Seriously you shouldn't wait for it to happen again take it in & let them tell you what they find or dont find.

It's a good thing I have a clutch . I will talk to my dealer I purchased the car from the first chance I have . Not sure how the idle control when cold works. But I tend to believe it is the fly by wire throttle .

There is a problem, they should look at it now. What if it happens while driving at a highter speed in traffic, could be very dangerous.
