I am thinking of upgrading from a Single CD player/Sat Radio to the Uconnect GPS. Has anyone done this? if so was it possible to transfer the Sirrus from one unit to another?

 

My car came from the factory without the nav system. They changed out the original radio installing the nav system & said they had to move the SAT chip (& another chip of some type) to the new nav based mygig system & it would work no problem.

 

Cool. That gives me more confidence and that I am not thinking crazy
