My Challenger was Challenged today
The other day I noticed a brand new black caddy V supercharged in my office parking lot right where I park my Challenger when I drive her to work. it was a sharp looking car. I thought it was a salesperson. Today I was gathering parts from a person in our office and he asked me if I wanted to race a couple of times. I just shrugged it off as I was working and I just thought he was messing with me about my car. Then he told me about his new caddy, suddenly I put 2 & 2 together. I told him I would meet him at Gainesville Dragstrip in February. So I will post our times in the future. It will be fun.

Actually, DUDE YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN STAKED OUT AT THAT GUY'S CAR WAITING FOR HIM READY TO CHALLENGE "HIM"!!!
*THAT* is why it is called a Challenger!!!
Seriously, on paper, the Caddy CTS-V should clean your clock. It has a supercharged 6.2 with over 550 crank HP.

RE: My Challenger was Challenged today
Actually, I'm a salaried employee with actual responsibilities that are much more important than waiting in a parking lot for someone to show up to get into their car so that I could challenge them. I didn't even think the car was anyone's that worked in the same building as I do.
But enough of that, I believe my naturally aspirated engine will give him a run. I'm not sure how hard a caddy owner will push his car. I have been fooled before. I guess I'm pushing around 460 at the crank myself, so we will see.
The CTS V is 200#s heavier, for what thats worth. The article states 0-60 in 3.9 sec, thats very quick. I may need BUDMAN's twin turbo to pull it off.

Yep, can you beleive it? It is one of the most terrible things I have done. I' will have had this character flaw for 20 years this July.

Kevin,
I spoke with the guy this morning and much to my surprise it is a 07 STS Turbocharged. Fooled me it looks as though its brand new. It is only pushing 469 horses. I think it will only be a lite snack.
