Default 180 Degree Thermostat Installed

Install complete in less then 5 minutes.

On the 2008 Challenger SRT8 the gasket is part of thermostat and is included with the thermostat. It was on my old thermostat and my new 180 degree JET Powertech Thermostat PN 10183.

I put my 180 stat in and when I still saw the temp at 200+ I changed it again to the hp one. Still higher then I wanted until I reset the fans for lower cooling with the tuner.
Now It rides at 180 and only goes higher when I get real aggressive.

In LX forums 180 stat with out tuner you would get error codes.Said dont change unless you have tuner.

I'm not to clear on an earlier post... would it be beneficial to add the 180 stat without a tuner?
