voltage regulator

Default voltage regulator

I have a 71 challenger with a 383 and i just recently had to replace my voltage regulator because it was blown i put a new one it and then that one blew and i put another in and that one blew as well any ideas on how to fix this ?

Check your ballest resistor and then your alternator. Sounds like the ballest.

I would definitly check the ballast, if you can put an amp meter on it, that is going to be the best way to tell.
