Ok guys, I got tired of my dates getting constantly pushed back and being stuck in "Hold Released" status. So I did some research and found the phone number to Ground Effects LTD. They are the company that puts the stripes on our Challengers. Anyway, I just got off the phone with Pete Fox. He oversees that section of the facility. According to him, there has been some road construction in front of their facility that has prevented the big car haulers from getting to their lot. All the trucks that were turned away were sent to the "Windsor 98" holding facility. The construction was finished last week and the cars have been pouring in.

I told him my VIN number, and he had some good news for me. Big Red arrived on Sunday and they just finished putting the stripes on her today! They will be submitting for a KZ label tonight. I should see KZ tommorrow morning!

I think this same situation should apply to everyone who has been in "Hold Released" or Storage Status with the "At facility Windsor 98" tag. Keep an eye out, they are striping the cars as fast as they can.

I have been getting seriously frustrated. I sent the email to Chrysler and they told me the car had been invoiced and talk to the Dealer.

The dealer called Chrysler and was told there was an issue with the six speeds. Now i find out there is a stripe issue? WTF? this is crazy. No wonder they are having trouble selling cars.
