I just talked to Palmer Dodge in Atlanta. They indicated that each dealership will only get one 08 Challenger. He indicated that interest has good even though they are all going to be automatics. The real cars with standard shift will be comming next and ordering will be in about a month or so. It will be interesting to see what collectors are willing to pay for an automatic car. I have a SRT8 Magmun with the automatic which is a great car!. But that said, I would not buy a Challenger with another automatic no matter how much power it had.

It was reported on allpar.com that the 5-speed automatic SRT versions will have the Limited Slip differential.

 

I certainly hope so, can't imagine a car with that kind of power without one [sm=yikesomg.gif]

 

Yeah it has to be a stick shift. I'll just wait for the 09 as well.
