2008 Challenger License Plate Ideas?
 

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum, and I can't wait for this little baby to be released! I wouldn't change a thing!

Just wonder if any of you have ideas as to a good license plate idea. I live in Ontario, Canada, we have a limit of 8 characters. So "Challenger" is not possible :(

LOL...not bad. I actually want it to resemble the car in some way ...hmm an example would be GT 300 ...Mustang GT w/300 HP.

I think Hemi 6.1 is good...but as far as I know you can't get a "." on a plate :(

Or something scientific about the Hemi engine ...I think Hemi's are spherical heads or something ...something which references the technology...

HEMISPER ...that's crap, but I don't know what to put...

I'd probably go with '08-HEMI'.... it would be consistent with my truck ('03-HEMI') and Charger ('66-HEMI'). Not much imagination, I know....[sm=smiley13.gif]

Hmm...well, I don't like too much imagination ...what was that stupid show where they had license plates and you guessed what they were? I hated that show :D

If you say it fast it enough, it sounds like Hammer Time......wasn't that a song? LOL!

I think a lot of people may not get it, unless they are a gear head. How about HME Time
so ordinary people can figure it out or better yet make the license plate longer. Yea, that would work.

Check your state DMV site on line. NY has a link to see if the "vanity plates" you want are available or already taken. That should eliminate some possibilities without surprise.

Seems the displacement plates are usually uncontested/available, like 345 HEMI or 370 HEMI or? 429 HEMI. :D

Plates like LUV2XLR8 are tough to get. The folks that have them already usually transfer them to other cars.

I think it was. Hammer Time that reminds me of the "Behind the Laughter" episode. Homer takes a hammer and changes the gate from saying "Hammer Time" to "Homer Time.":D

I wish I could have 8 characters, but HME Time might work, or sonnyboom's suggestion of HEMITYM. Thank you both for the suggestion.

The name "Challenger" has too many characters to abbrievate. Rockin HEMI is still very good.
