wow the similaritys to the GTO interior is unreal. I know you all hate to hear that but it is almost a spitting image with small alterations to the new gen GTO interior.

After seeing the Challenger, here are my negatives:

1. Almost 4,200 lbs.

2. Non-functional hood scoops

3. Charger dash and guages

4. Charger bucket seats (not ribbed design)

5. Ram emblems on hood and steering wheel

6. Charger steering wheel (not 3-spoked)

7. Hood-mounted windshield washer jets

8. B pillar

All of the above, however, can be corrected. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the final product. It could have turned out like the Charger where the car bore no resemblence to its concept. [:'(]

It remains to be seen how they define functional. I doubt that they are vacuum-activated like the concept's (too expensive). I hope that I am wrong, but they are probably like the SRT Charger's (i.e., they simply blow cool air over the engine and manifolds).

Looking at open hood shots it is obviously not functional in operationally supplying fresh air to the intake... so have to agree, not sure what respect they are "functional"??

In Dodge land "functional" means hole that lets air in, nothing more. Charger and Magnum are also listed as functional.
