Yeah...that'd be tight and a good way to send it off. Plus for those playing the Barrett Jackson angle, quite a nice collector's item. A limited 2K run on Hemi V10's.

i happen to like the Viper Interior.... looks much better than the interior in my 1972 Ford Pinto. I happen to like the color coordinating seat belts and seats with the exterior.

I'll be getting an SE and what they've got is mostly fine with me. At some point I'll have custom leather seats done to match the exterior color, unless I get white then I'll probably get red or blue seats. I'll be upgrading to that T style chrome shifter as well.

The only changes I'd really like to see them make is a new steering wheel. I wouldn't mind it if the center console kind of flowed into the controls similar to the crossfire. It'd give it a more sporty feel I think. They wouldn't have to change the layout of it really, just curve them together and add some accented color trim. What they've got now works for the boxy "muscular" look though so it's alright.

Crossfire interior:

I get the whole bean-counting angle as well. For my two cents, I think they could get huge benefit for just offering the same interior seats, stiching etc, but in a cream color as well. That would equally compliment many of the exterior options they've selected, plus advance the "interior upgrade" issue much faster. A red, blue or even black Chally w/ cream interior would be quite differentiating to anything Ford or others are offering in the same class. Plus, fits the whole "retro" theme to a tee.

There are some new pictures posted on other sites of the new Camaro's interior and it doesn’t look good at all. It's got your standard GM plastic radio and controls... the interior may be uglier then the exterior.

I have to agree with Mopar2ya - I think the worst part about the Camaro concept is its interior (just the opposite of the Challenger concept, which I thought was the best part). The speedo and tach are just downright ugly, with numerals so huge they look like they were lifted intact from a 1950's Buick. And the console gauges are a dumb idea - I know they're trying to replicate the 1969 model's gauges, but it was a dumb idea back then too.

The Camaro die-hards of course love it, but then again it could have a Yugo dash and they'd still cream over it. [:'(]

Just like the challenger die-hards love the plastic charger interior we're getting :P
