ok so a 5.7 has a displacment of 345 cid so now would that be labled 350? I ask in regard to if i was to put displacment in retro on side of scoops. would i put 345 or 350? i guess i am asking is a 5.7 considered a 350? everything is leters now days what happened to good old cubic inches? are we getting that old? lol even when i had my 5.7 GTO never got a straight answer.

 

i always thought it was 349 ci but maybe it is 345ci

 

in real facts 5.7L = 347.835 cu. in. but it has been listed as 345 cid in some articals. but what would be the cid label for engine in old school? would it be rounded up to 350?

 

i thought it was rounded up to 350 all this time. Also, i think it is 5.732 and that makes it closer to 349 therefore the 350.
