6.1L in 2009?
We posted that information, before but actually had heard it might be a 6.5L for 2009.5.

Wowsers!
What would I even do with that much power?
425 hp has a nice ring to it, but why would you want 500+ hp?

I have to say the price of the car won't bother me as much as gas prices to keep the 6.1L fed.
Getting a fully decked out RT with a 5.7L /VCT may make more sense for me - since I want to keep the Challenger a long long time and put a lot of miles on it. Especially if Chrysler keeps there lifetime warranty program running. If I want more power from the 5.7L there are plenty of options available...
Of course I'd change my mind in a heartbeat if I could get a bigger motor with VCT

For me there isn't a cap on how much power a car should have available. The more the merrier.LordFoul, I can definitely see your point. The Lifetime Warranty is very tempting as long as you intend to keep it pretty much stock. I think the VCT will find its way into the other HEMIs as it helps the fuel economy, power, and emissions. It wouldn't make sense not to extend it.
