I would just soon get the biggest and put add ons.
I have to believe the internals will be beefier and so add ons will provide better gains with less potential damage to the engine.
I would not ever put add ons that would give me more than 500 rwhp to the standard internals.
Certainly cliche' but there is "no replacement for displacement"

Knowing all of that mean's I can drive the wheel's off my 09 R/T . Then have a good excuse to buy a new one . Because of all the miles I have on my 09 . I should have close to 100,000 miles on mine by that time . And the wife can't say NO.

I said the same thing back in 1975 at the US National's at Indy. Helping a friend run his 455 Buick GS in stock class. I had one also but was a Stage 1 model. When some Buick big wig's stopped my and mis took us for their drivers of a Buick Sky Hawk V-6 . My friend and I laughed at them . And they said the V-6 would blow our door's off within two years. Right we said !!! Then Buick added the Turbo to the Regal . Remember those Black car's . Those are still some very fast and bad ass cars. But I like cubes also.
