6.4 .... how do you feel? (08/09 owners)
No offense and nothing personal but Chrysler can keep it MDS paws off'n my 6.1!
That's just too much Tom Foolery for me. I wish I could get the ESP and Hill Assist removed completely. H-E-Double Hockey sticks, you can have the back seat, sound proofing, and I'll trade you carbon fiber hood and deck lid for the steel units.
On a side note: I've tried real hard to invision this car being a little smaller. Truth is it wouldn't look right. If it were the size of a BMW 5 series...Nope. Mustang??...Nope. It really is comfortable in its own skin. Personally, I love a big girl who knows she's sexy and has the attitude to back it up.

Not picking knits here, but the finance rate doesn't represent a cut in price. The employee pricing just means the margins are smaller and the $1000 rebate can come from what they 'would' have given you on your trade-in or a serendering of the dealer kick-backs or any number of other places. I do get what you're saying but you are still going to pay over $37k for an SRT8 which ain't cheap. You're right. though, I did say MSRP but these cars are still sellng for more than it cost to manufacture.
I agree with you though, I've been a Mopar guy all my life and I hope they make it. Having said that, I'm in the process of buying an SRT now just in case that Plum Crazy one doesn't happen.
well i've got the 5.7 without MDS and I wouldn't mind having it... Plus i've seen certain people getting the MDS deleted and it's only a couple hundred bucks...
What about a re-vamp like they did with the 5.7 going from 345 to 390hp??? Would you also be against that?
I thought the Carbon fiber hood was just "LOOK"... It's just stickers right?...

Bad news. Chrysler just announced the employee pricing deal is over today for the Challys. Everything else continues. I think someone finally woke up. Epegasus, good call!
I removed the hill assist from my R/T 6-speed. Just follow the 100 simple steps
that are in the owners manual. And no more hill assist. That was really annoying. Now to get the electronic hook-up to get rid of the skip shift.
