I think I will be getting a v6 after all. What can I do

 

If your talking performance mods no doubt there will be the CAI... exhaust and a performance chip mod available if it is not already out there. If your talking turbo though I would suggest kickin it up to the R/T or SRT8 for the money you will be spending for that kind of mod.

I would think that the compression ratio is a bit high for a turbo on the V6 for the bottom end it has.My GN had the block cast with extra webbing at key points to make it stronger...........JB.

 

One thing I'd check with a blower on any engine, is the spark plugs. Don't these new Challengers come with platinum plugs?

I put a blower on a 96 Ram, and learned quite a bit. In that case, I had to revert back to standard ol laying around Champions. The spark would blow out with platinums. 3500 rpms and it would bang out. Just a thought.

 

a 4 cyl turbo IMO should have replaced the v6 ! The Subuaru Impreza IX or whatever trim ... has 300hp.
