Default back seat access

I had some friends over today for a bbq and they went over the Challenger from nose to tail..they had trouble figuring out how to get in the back seat...after checking, we discovered that there is not a seat back release lever on the drivers seat!!!! Am I the only one, or can rear seat riders only enter from the passenger side of the car???

tupperware, you are right on brother! Checked out the first one this afternoon and attempted to take a look in back, as I had my boy along with me, and found out this very annoying feature. Very tough having to always gain in/out access to one side only.

That's totally stupid. Not that I'm ever going to have bunch of people riding around in the back of my Challenger, but there are times I'll want to put stuff on the back seat behind me (such as when I go to the grocery store by myself or whatever). How in the hell am I supposed to put stuff back there??? Hey, Dodge, SOME of us actually drove the ORIGINAL Challengers day in and day out, long before they became legends. Those cars were NOT trailer queens! THESE cars shouldn't be, either! Just because you've allowed your dealers to rip people off for multiple thousands on the "collector car" '08s, it's almost time for the '09s. I FULLY intend to use my '09 Challenger as a daily driver! Make it like one!

I can't remember exactly from Grab Life tour test drive. I think passenger side seat flip switch is up high easy unique control. I think driver's side is simple lever low on side of seat. I'll look at the Master Tech feature guide, and you look in the owner's manual,OK?

Owners Manual only makes mention of "Easy Entry Seats" on page 109. Shows a picture of the drivers front seat release and makes do distinction of drivers seat vs. passenger seat, so one could only assume they would be they same.

WARNING: When I opened the manual to look my head started to spin when I saw this: [&:]

I will have to do more investigating today... we looked at the manual, and the picture of how to get into the back seat is of the drivers side seat and it shows a lever... Seems like a safety issue if you can only get out on the one side...
