Default Big Scare

As you guys know, I have been patiently waiting for my SRT order to move to D1 (car ordered on May 16).

Well, today, I got a BIG scarce.

Customer Service stated that my VIN# was invalid and I was now back in BG status (unallocated). WTF!! [:@]

Even though other members have had a good experience with my dealer, I thought the worst (i.e., they gave my allocation to someone else and bumped me back).

I tried to call my salesman but he has been in training for several weeks (and his cell phone has been disconnected). This made me even more nervous.

I then spoke with another salesman who is handling his customers while he is gone. He got back to me 3 hrs. later and advised that the owner called Chrysler and was told that there has been a "computer glitch" and the problem should be fixed and everything should be back to normal in 1-2 days. In addition, they expect to receive a build date at that time. He stated that he will keep me advised.

I will call Customer Service to verify this on Monday. If I am still in D and have the same VIN#, the dealer was being straight with me. If I have another VIN#, the dealer has been playing games.
