Bolt piercing driver/passenger seat leather

RE: Bolt piercing driver/passenger seat leather
I have not heard this complaint from them yet and as far as I can tell this is the first time it has come up. All of the LX series cars and even a jeep modle share the same seat frames and the bolts are the same in them. I have let someone know to follow this thread so they are now aware.

Called my salesman and told him about it and he was shocked. He checked the Challenger on the floor to confirm and also a Charger, and found the Charger has the same bolts.
Has anyone checked to see if the Charger guys have any issues with it?

Another quik cover for the bolts is the rubber covers for wire mesh shelving like closet maid ect its the larger of the 2 sizes and could be found if not in your closet at any home depot type store will be going to show dealer tomorrow just to have it on record thanks for the heads up all..

I have already contacted them and they are aware and looking into it. The seat frames are supplied from a vendor so a change would need to be made at that level.

Anyone have a photo of this? I work at a Mopar car plant and I can talk to the rep. from the seat company.

Keep us posted. I have covered mine with a rubber cap but would like to see shorter bolts installed.

I took my car into the dealer and they took the bolts out and cut them off. It looks fine and seems to have solved the issue. They did the same thing to another challenger already in the shop.

I placed 4 rubber 5/16" vaccum line caps on my bolts. Dealer service manager is going to file a report to Chrysler.

I put a small rubber cap over the bolt ends and seems to be holding
