I'm Chris Higgins with Borla Exhaust in Oxnard, CA. We are a new site sponsor & I figured this would make an appropriate first post!

We’re in the process of designing an exhaust system for the new Challenger SRT-8 & R/T. And we're looking for New Product Development Partners who have these cars, preferably with a manual transmission, and as close to stock as possible.

You would be an integral part of our R&D process, giving us valuable input & feedback to help us design our new exhaust system. Your car will be carefully watched & well-taken care of while at our facility. Upon completion of our R&D process, you will be presented with a free Borla exhaust system for your Challenger as thanks for your time & effort.

Since our facilities are in Oxnard, CA we prefer to have a partner in Southern California. I have Borla Exhaust on my 06 Daytona. The ones without the resonators and really like they way they perform and sound. Good luck with the Chally project.

 

Good luck with the project, but hopefully you know the manuals will not be out until October-November as I believe they are shipping out SE models 1st.

 

Thanks for the support. I was under the impression they were delivering SRT-8's in stick, is this not the case? Are all deliveries going to be auto until October-ish? Thanks again for the FYI.

 

A few manual transmission SRT models (including mine) have just recently gone to "D" status. Which means they are being scheduled to be built. Still no official word on build dates. I know of one manual R/T that is in "D1", with a firm build date. We will should start seeing these cars in October. But there is no offical word yet.
