Default Brampton plant employees agrees to pay cuts

Today, the union membership of the (Canadian Auto Workers) agreed
to accept approximately a $125 weekly pay cut to secure a $700 million
dollar investment from DCX headquarters.[sm=goodidea.gif][sm=goodidea.gif][sm=goodidea.gif]

I believe the CAW membership was wise to accept this agreement
to secure this multi-million dollar investment. DCX had proposed that
the investment monies could have gone to another DCX plant
in the U.S. that could also built the LX car models.

Now, as the article states, the Brampton DCX plant will be able to produce
up to five models.......
.the 300, Charger, Magnum, up-coming Challenger and future Chrysler Imperial.[sm=smiley32.gif][sm=smiley32.gif][sm=smiley32.gif]

I'm glad to see that went over okay. A strike is the last thing the company needs right now.
