Buy a 2009 Rt or Invest in Stock Market???

Well for many today was a great day on wall street, well I know it was good for me.
Stocks are Dirt CHEAP
You can invest in Visa,JPM,Apple,RIMM among many others,,,,and the money you make
you will be able to pay for your 2009 Challengers Rts for CASH in the srping.....
But then again you will have many dealers going out of business
because they cannot get loans.......
But if I were you,,,,I would invest every penney you have tomorrow when the
stocks will fall alot more(I hope)
Then when Spring Rolls around the car will be paid off depends on how much money you have
to invest........
For the ones that say you have to have your Challengers now must have no money.
But for the ones like me,,,,,,I would invest this week and watch your money go up up up

Walk up from the Ferry on Broadway about a mile and
then hang a right turn and you will be on wall street.
If you are at pearl st you have gone one block too many

LOL... Wallstreetman is a forum member.

Just because it looks like red coals, is no reason to jump into a burning fire. I have 100% of my Challenger in my garage, and had I invested in stocks on that day instead, I would have 64% of a Challenger.....

Glad you are enjoying your challenger............
But now since the stock market is sooooo screwed up.
I would invest whatever I can because you will never see what is happening today and this week
ever again.
Who whould think Rimm would be $62
Or apple at $105
even V at $56 or MA at $160.....
For the ones that will be buying a challenger within the next 6 months, its best to invest your money now.......
Yep its nice to have a Challenger Rt,,,but it would be nice also to have it pai9d off with in a year also

Let say that today after a 777.68 drop in the dow you invest.... 9/30/08

Just for fun pick your stocks, and lets look back at this in 60-90-120 days.

I will pick the safe way and convert 60% to worthless Treasury bills and 40% on hard luck gold (currently at 894.40 and up 3/4 of a percent today).

Anyone wanna play?

I will suggest that the market will rebound tomorrow (Tuesday Sept. 30) by about 75% of the loss today (maybe 582 points). All it will take is the spineless Republicans who got us into this mees to vote yes on the market making plan. The $600B is not a tax hit. It is an investment in distreseed equities. The gov't could actually make money by gettting these mortage backed securities (yes, actually backed by physical properties) at pennies on the dollar. I do not think our gov't could actually make a profit (c'mon it is the gov't), but it is not just pouring tax money down the drain. Mark my words, right now, the Congress will pass a measure and the stock market will rise tomorrow.

Oh yeah, back to your original question, though. Buy the RT. The market will take a long time to rebound, probably two or three years. You can enjoy the RT every day...

I agree coloracher on all except tomorrow. I say we see below 10,000 before the yard sale is over. Then, panic dies slowly......

a buddy of mine just bought some general motors bonds for under $5 per share... for a face value bond of $25 paying $1.75 annually..... which is a 35% return annually on your money ($1.75/$5)... i sure hope the camaro and the volt puts GM back on the map... last i heard they were losing 1 billion dollars a day!... no wonder chrysler sold out.
