RE: Car Cover
I'd love to get the Mopar one and might still but $300 is quite insanse. $150 and I'd be all over it!
Can you wash the Mopar one? |
RE: Car Cover
$300? They don't need to send somebody to put it on for me every night. I could do it myself. ;)

RE: Car Cover
Im trying to get one of the MOPAR covers for free from my dealer. Since I live in the Barracks, I dont have access to a garage. And the birds here seem to like red cars. I wash my red BMW and within an hour or two there is fresh bird crap on it.

RE: Car Cover
I've got one and have never used it. I am a little worried about the goofy plastic license plate lens in the back as it seems rather "rough" and could scratch the finish. For those of you that have the MPOAR cover, how is it working? Any concerns about what I stated or do you just need to be careful when you use it?

RE: Car Cover
RoswellGrey, if you don't mind , the wal mart cover. What brand? What Size? and how much? I just need a cover to keep the dust off inside and to block the sun on occassion outside when I need to work in the garage where my Challenger will sleep. Thanks for any info. Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]
ORIGINAL: RoswellGrey I'm sure you're right, TRW. But when you need a car cover at 11 p.m. and Wal-Mart is open ... ;) |
RE: Car Cover
When you are talking about a car cover, it is best to buy a quality one, especially it is for outdoor use.
I researched car covers and decided to buy the Covercraft custom fitted Weathershield HP. I bought it from autosupermarket.com for $283.95. They included a storage bag, cable & lock, plus free shipping and no sales tax. You can't beat this deal! ;) |
RE: Car Cover
Bought mine from dealer for $238.00 with tax. Negotiate with your dealer.

RE: Car Cover
Fat Cat, the one I bought is a "Premier Semi Custom Car Cover." It's in a box with a picture of one of the covers being pulled over a new Mustang. Its "size" is K-3 and it cost just about $42.
Unlike the pictures of the custom ones I've seen, it does not have pockets for the side mirrors to slip into, which means it's kind of tight on the car. I think the recommended "size" actually refers to the original Challengers, not the modern ones. However, it seems to work well enough. I use it outside and it hasn't blown away (yet, at least) or anything. :D |
