I hope they take another angle shot of this one. I am sorry but that shifter looks like a handle off of a fancy umbrella.

I will change it to look more like a pistol grip shifter from the aftermarket. Where is my Sig handle?

LOL! I never thought of that, but it does look like that. When I saw a video in the one section of the NASCAR drivers using the pistol grip, was what really got my interest. I'm going to wait until I actually use it to make a judgment call.

Now these are classic pistol grip shifters. I will get the more modern version of these.

Well now let's see, does this umbrella feel better or this pistol in my hand?

Tough call.

Here let me help......it is the pistol.

LOL! What I mean though is the materials themselves between wood and the pieces they are using there.

I am glad I made you laugh.

I think it is getting late for me and I am going bananas.

I'd say the pistol grip stock is actually really nice. I'd like to see wood accents or all wood but I do like the fancy umbrella handle. Lol.
Everyone keeps saying low 20's so what is the base price? 22k? 23? So what's is gonna be?
What's the base price for the R/T??
I still don't think im going to jump in line for them yet though. I've gotta wait at least till mid-year. I just feel like their still holding back something from us. Peace.. Convertible?????

Yeah, I agree w/ the leather clad pistol grip shifter....fancy umbrella; excellent analogy.

I think hard materials in order....ebony w/ brushed nickel accents (rivets/screws) or even some thermoresin (fancy word for plastic!) like the kind of material used in Buck pocket knives.

I have the feeling that Jeremiah also will be dropping by his local Sherwin-Williams store and stocking up on wood-grain wallpaper. That way, he can apply it properly to the dash, inside of the doors and and of the console to have that full retro interior.

Speaking of the interior, one thing I'm not thrilled about on the new Challenger is having the reflective material around the instrument clusters. The Charger I rented recently had that, and it's somewhat distracting as you drive under streetlights at night. You keep seeing small flashes of light that resemble idiot lights going off. Most disconcerting.
