RE: Challenger Merchandise
When I get my Challenger (or Cuda), I'm going to get an Ed Roth t-shirt of a monster driving a muscle car. I think they should make Ed Roth/Rat Fink die-cast cars like that too. I think now would be a great time for an Ed Roth resurgence since muscle cars have come back.

An Ed Roth resurgence? Did he ever go out of fashion?

RE: Challenger Merchandise

RE: Challenger Merchandise
During the LLLOOONNNGGGG break at my daughter's swim meet today, I was able to hit local stores away from home base. I picked up a slew of Challenger diecast.
1. We know about Maisto Rods (modified 1970 Challengers) 2. We know about Dub City modified Concept Challengers 3. We know about 3 colors of Hot Wheels concept Challengers and 3 colors 1970 Challengers 4. past release of Big Time Muscle (in two colors?) note package looks like two big tires from rear view, light orange(wave 10) 5. past release of "G" Force (or is it G Machine)in two colors today I found 1. at Target...Muscle Car Garage, Series 4, 2006 concept in orange, and custom concept, in yellow w/black roof graphics 2. Big time Muscle Wave 11, darker orange and packaged more like hot wheels 3. big time Muscle in plum crazy with white roof and diagonal stripe with word Hemi (wave 11) 4. Hot Wheels G Machine in blue metallic with silver #8 on hood and doors and thin reverse hockey stripe side graphic. Steve Legel |

Challenger in the Press
Motor Trend Sept 07 pg 107, Ultimate 2008-2009 Guide Pg 118 Dodge Challenger mentioned, price listed around 30 Interesting, in last year's issue, Challenger was listed among top 10 to wait for. This year 2007 issue, top 10 to wait for does not list Challenger, and pages 156 and 157 are dated Sept 2006, in the Sept 07 issue! |
RE: Challenger Merchandise
I order promotional callenders to give away my Dental office. I've been doing it for a few years. Classic (50's/60's) and Muscle car callenders have been so popular that people come to the office just asking for a callender. I also used to buy one of gardens or antiques for the ladies, and cars for the guys...but not this year. We had a box of garden callenders left over...the women were asking for muscle car callenders.
I look for classic Thunderbirds, and now Dodge Challengers. I found two callenders with Challengers 1.Comda Callenders... "Road Warriors" has a 70 Challenger with full blown engine and a TA Challenger. Challenger gets the cover and two months! 2. Norwood..."Exotics" has Concept Challenger. These are not the kind of callender you buy at the mall at Christmas time. These are mass produced and imprinted with a business name for promotional use. Steve |
